Brett Workman has been going to the races since before he was born. Born in Indiana not too far from Louisville, Kentucky, Brett could be found be at Churchill Downs with his family watching the races quite frequently. At the age of four, his family moved to Florida and grew up under the finish line of Tampa Bay Downs on the weekends. Horse racing has always been in his blood.
In 2015, he moved from Orlando to Louisville, with his wife Niki and daughter Alexis, to pursue a job in the racing industry. This is where he met a now life long friend Brian Zipse. Brett has been the producer of HorseCenter since 2016.
As a lifelong handicapper, Brett has qualified for the National Handicapping Championship two times as well as the Horseplayer World Series. He also has a strong background in tech and looks forward to taking Derby Day Racing’s vision and making it a reality.
